Global Nutrition Report: inaugural edition (2014) tracking global progress on improving nutrition
This was the first Global Nutrition Report (GNR), developed to track the commitments made at the 2013 Nutrition for Growth summit. The report tracks actions and accountability to accelerate global progress on nutrition. National launches were planned as advocacy opportunities and to profile the GNR’s data-driven and evidence-based approach.
Nutriat’s work involved national communications/ country uptake for the first global launch of GNR (2014): designing, organising and publicising 6 Roundtable events in 5 countries – India (Delhi & Odisha); Indonesia; Ethiopia; Zambia; and Mexico, attended by 700 key nutrition stakeholders. We worked with country partners, including national and state government, research institutes and civil society, to plan the event, including developing themes, format, presenters, logistic planning, event running and media coverage, including social media.
